About the Project

Sustainovation is an annual summit and a dynamic thought leadership platform designed to engage diverse stakeholders around key themes central to BEEAH’s mission: Digital Sustainability, Innovation, and Education. The platform evolves through a series of curated sessions that bring together expert thought leaders from across sectors, including government, private organizations, non-profits, futurists, and academics. Speakers have included prominent figures from Masdar, Dubai Future District Fund, e&, Khazna, DP World, Siemens Advanta MEA, Schneider Electric, the American University of Sharjah. These sessions foster meaningful dialogue, spark innovative ideas and collaboratively advance a collective sustainability agenda.

The Process & The Impact

We designed this platform to reflect the values and ethos of BEEAH. Each session is designed with a forward-thinking approach, incorporating AI-driven interactions, hybrid formats, and diverse engagement strategies. From recognizing attendees upon entry to leveraging AI for dynamic Q&A, and personalized knowledge-sharing, the platform offers a cutting-edge experience. The sessions produced actionable insights summarized in white papers and incorporate sustainability measures that offset carbon footprints, ensuring lasting impact and guiding stakeholders towards meaningful change. Key themes explored include decarbonization, designing smart and future-proof societies, and leveraging education to transition towards sustainable economies.

Engaging over 200 participants, we designed the event as a carbon-neutral experience, beginning with the BEEAH Headquarters as a net-zero venue, minimizing waste of food and beverages, and tracking emissions relating to the participants and guests. The remaining emissions from the event were offset by BEEAH through a certified carbon offset program, showcasing how thought leadership platforms can be purposefully designed to drive meaningful impact while minimizing their environmental footprint.
